We recently had our gas meter swapped out by Enbridge and when they restarted our gas fireplaces and furnace they shut our rec room fireplace down stating it smelled of gas and needed service or new parts. I hadn't had the gas units cleaned and serviced in awhile. I contacted Lazzaro Gas for service on my two fireplaces and furnace. Gabe and his crew came as scheduled. Gabe explained everything clearly and what I could expect. I have had the fireplaces cleaned previously but nowhere near as thorough as done by Gabe and his team. Gabe checked the unit in question and found no issue other than the required cleaning... he also hooked up the fireplace to the existing thermostat which was disconnected by the previous owners. All work was done as quoted with no additional parts and labour which was a comfort considering Enbridge's assessment. I am relieved to have found a company I can trust and doesn't attempt to up-sell. It is a relief knowing that our gas appliances are safe and within spec giving us peace of mind. Lazzaro Gas is now my go-to for maintenance and any upgrades.
